Srini Kumar is Assoc Vice President and Head of SOA
Practice at Satyam. Working with CTO Office as an Integrator
he is responsible for developing a SOA Center of Excellence
and delivering complex SOA projects / implementations.
Srini Kumar has worked in areas of IT Strategy, Enterprise
Architecture, Project Management and Delivery.
With 12 years of IT experience, Srini has worked in
several leadership roles. He started his career in Oracle
and has worked on several Public Sector engagements
helping clients with Enterprise Architecture and delivery.
As a Director of Global business solutions, Oracle he
led a team out of India. As a Technical Director at
IRI Srini successfully managed a global team responsible
for Architecture and Delivery of Market Knowledge factory.
As a Chief Technology Advisor at City of Chicago Srini
was part of leadership team and he directed PMO, Application
Development and IT Strategy.
Srini management expertise spans IT Organization Assessment,
IT Strategy, Portfolio Management and IT Process Improvements.
As founder and CEO of PlanCube Srini has developed a
Strategy Framework which help the Clients to realize
their vision. Srini holds a bachelors degree in Engineering
from Bangalore University followed by a MS from University
of Texas.

Abstract
:
SOA
is no longer constrained to some small projects or proof of
concepts. SOA in itself is a vision and strategy of Company
on how they would like to move forward in making their businesses
agile. Gartner has predicted that more than 70% of companies
would implement or would have implemented SOA.
There
are some basic components which make up for a successful implementation
of SOA lifecycle. The components include following

Appropriate Governance.
These
components in-turn help in delivering best practices and reference
architecture for SOA Implementation. This session will provide
more insight into each of these components and how to use

that can be used and how a Company can make its business agile.
