Abstract:

• Evolution of Automation Framework:
  Test Automation frameworks such Data Driven, Key Word Driven, Functional decomposition and Hybrid have been developed to develop/execute automation scripts for better re-usability. Driver Scripts, Utility Scripts, Function Iibraries, Component Functions developed as part of the different frameworks help people with lesser scripting experience to use the Automation suite.
• ROI and Productvity Enhancements:
  The efficiency of Automation Test Execution runs has resulted in better ROI and Productivity gains for the customer when compared to Manual testing over a period of time.
• Off the shelf Automation suite for Different Technologies and Domains:
  Different off the shelf products for several domains such as Telecom, Insurance etc., and technologies such as Web application, Client server etc., has resulted in lesser automation script development effort which in turn has resulted to showcase better productivity to the customer.
• Maintainability and Scalability:
  Usage of Automation Frameworks in developing automation scripts has resulted in better maintainability and scalability.
