Abstract:
Regression testing proves a challenge for most long-running projects. During this session we will provide a newer apporach to regression testing. The following topics will be covered, - the need to automate regression testing, Risk-Benefit analysis to help identify applications to automate and methodolgy to develop and maintain automated test scripts. We will also look at regression test execution guidelines, test results and subsequent defect management and closure. Metrics specific to test automation will also be discussed.

"Ashwini Kamble works as a Team Lead with Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd. She has over 7 years of experience in the testing arena, with most of this being on Automation. She has helped various projects initiate test automation with tools like Quick Test Pro and Silk Test. She is currently working with a huge telecom client to help automate their testing.
